If you would like to create herbal teas of your own there are, a wealth of sites on the internet today, which can offer you advice, and herbal tea recipes that you may want to consider trying. There are so many different types of herbal teas to choose from that you may need to try them all before you find those that you really like.

Below we take a look at some various different recipes and the way in which they can help you. The first recipe we are providing below is one that will help to provide you with energy and gift you a lift.

In order to make this uplifting tea for yourself you need to get together the following ingredients which are best if they come in a dried form. 50g of peppermint leaves, crushed linden flowers and vervain, along with 25g of lavender and chamomile flowers and 25g of lemon balm leaves.

You mix these ingredients together, then place in a jar (dark in color), and then store them away. Then when you need to make your teas get 1 or 2 teaspoons of the mix and place in a small teapot or a tisane cup. Then get some boiling water and add this to the mixture you have placed in the teapot or cup. Allow the mixture to brew for around 5 to 10 minutes before you pour it through a strainer. Then all you need to do is drink it.

The first recipe we provided you contains those properties which can give your energy levels a boost, whilst the next one contains properties that helps your mind and body relax. In order to make this particular herbal tea you will need to have 50g of wild lettuce leaves and 25g of Melilot (dried), 25g of Hawthorn flowers and 25g of California Poppies.

Again as with the first recipe we have provided in this article you need to mix all the ingredients previously mentioned together. Then store in an airtight jar when not being used. This is ideal to be drunk last think at night just before you are about to go to bed.

In order to make this tea you need 1 to 2 teaspoons of the mixture you have made and place it in a tisane cup (which comes with not just a cup and saucer but also with a strainer and a lid) or a teapot. Then to this you need to add some freshly boiled water and once added allow it to stand for between five and ten minutes before you pass it through a strainer. Doing this will allow the properties within the herbs to become infused in the water that you will be drinking.

But as well as the two herbal tea recipes we have mentioned above there are plenty of others which you may want to consider trying. Some which are able to act as a detoxifying agent whilst others can help to relieve the stresses and strains that we suffer in our lives today. Although many people prefer to drink these kinds of beverages over more normal teas and coffees because they are low in calories, they contain no caffeine and they are completely natural.
